ACFA (Almighty Chicks From the Atlantic) is a French Pop punk / Easycore band from Bordeaux. The band takes its influences from bands like Four Year Strong, Carousel King and Blink 182.
The band just released their new EP called “Reckless”. Out since September 30th 2017, it includes 6 new tracks available on Bandcamp. These brand-new songs are pointing out a real turning point in the band musicality. The reason of this heavy change is Tom moving from guitar to lead vocals and his voice is totally different from what you can hear on the first album.
As often, a new pop-punk album needs his calm and acoustic love song. “Remorse & Regrets” is the one on their new EP. You can watch a teaser of the band’s forthcoming music video below! The official music video will indeed be available on December 22nd 2017!
“This song relates how a love relationship can be difficult, when one of the two protagonists went through very hard mental or physical experiences, even if it was a long time ago. A new construction based on confidence is possible but can be really complicated if scars are too deep. This song is talking about decision-making of the less fragile person to follow or leave this relation.
Everything is based on the difference between regrets, something you can feel when you didn’t even try; just letting you imagine what you missed. And remorse, even if everything is falling apart in the end, you realize that you gave your best for this relationship to survive, but it’s not, then you feel that it’s time to leave anyway,” reveals the band.
If like me, you can’t wait to see the full music video… Mark your calendar! December 22nd is the date!
