AholyAv

Born in Paris, Philippe COUËT(AholyAv) lives in the Pyrénées-Orientales. Bassist and Double bassist formation. He played in several bands of his area until the age of being a father who works hard for them. He have been composing for several years. AholyAv is a instrumental solo project, it’s very personal because it mixes all the influences gleaned and which marked him over time (punk, hardcore, jazz, rock, post-rock, progressive, noise, contemporary). He search for a spiritual post-rock / post-punk, compositions rooted in the progressive, instru-mental soundtrack, traditionnal ethnic music, jazz, and other paths traveled. The goal is create to reach the spiritual and emotional side that only instrumental music can reach and to take the listener where he’s never been and come back from it with something good for himself.
