Jx Arket is a post-hardcore band born one evening in the mid-2016, when four guys from Turin / IT and one from San Paolo / BR sat down to eat a pizza under the faulty sign of a Chinese supermarket. On October 1st 2017 their debut album “Meet me abroad” (Scatti Vorticosi Records) was released, 9 tracks through which Jx Arket entered the Italian post-hardcore scene.
Davide Giaccaria (vocals), Andrea Mazzocca and Bruno Consani (guitars), Federico Cimbarle (bass) and Marco Mei (drums), Jx Arket music is made up of emotions and an authentic hardcore attitude, which make their sound a distinctive brand. Without any concern of being considered old timers, their roots proudly sink into post-hardcore and post-punk sounds from the late 1990s-early 2000s.
Since 2016 they have shared many stages around Italy and participated in some important festivals of the core scene; moreover they have carried out an intense tour between Italy, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary to promote the release of their first album.
There are also many video releases that match “Meet me Abroad”, including the official videos of “I ‘ll be the One”, “Aokigahara”, “Rooms”, “Jonathan Livingstone” and “Just Another Sad Song”.
2019 marks an important chapter for Jx Arket, as the band enters the “Antigony Records” roster and “Antigony Booking” agency, whereby Jx Arket are about to publish a second work, resulting from a conscious personal and artistic maturation: “About Existence”, which will be released in October 2019, is a concept album all focused on the futility of existence… The future is all to be written.
