Vodnik is a four-piece groove metal band from Toronto, Ontario. The band approaches the genre with a blend of heavier and lighter styles, which range from technical metal riffs, to spooky mellow passages, to hardcore breakdowns. Balancing between progressive grooves and dark atmospheres, the band desires to establish a sound that is both bizarre and ominous yet catchy and memorable. With this formula, Vodnik aspires to grab the attention of a wider audience.
The band’s first single “Our Dread, Our Joy” is off their their upcoming debut EP slated for later release in 2018 and will be available for stream plus download on Bandcamp, iTunes, Spotify and all other major online retailers.
