Superhead is an indie punk trio that combines loud and raucous noise with melodic pop-sensibilities to create a massive euphoric sound full of youth. To complement the music, they are known for their off the wall stage presence that brings everyone up onto their feet. Originating from the independent music scene south of Boston, the band formed in late 2019 out of guitarist Jason Frankel's need to put his songwriting to good use. He would enlist the help of drummer Aidan Kane after meeting through a recommendation. Bassist Bran James would later join in after lineup changes. Stuck together with crunchy guitar chords, pounding drums, and thumping bass lines, they have spent their time playing shows across the South Shore and building up their reputation as a high energy act.
