Paul The Walrus is a indie/pop/rock band based in Zagreb. It was founded by a Croatian multi-instrumentalist Borna Mijolović. The band is a home recording project for Borna who records, writes, produces and performs the music live with the band.
As a live act he is joined by Miro Kadijević (guitar, backing vocals), Martin Trgovec Greif (drums) and Branimir Kuruc (bass).
The music is influenced by monumental rock bands such as The Beatles and The Beach Boys. Pure pop artists are also a part of the mix. That influence can be heard throughout the tracks in strings, mellotrons, glockenspiels and shakers. Also, Borna's unique modern production and a bit of lo-fi recording style gives the music a certain twist.
Borna is at the moment finishing “Dolphin And Whale Watching Part Two”. It is set to be released by in January 2019. Next step
is recording a full length album for Paul The Walrus which will be released in 2020 and will be followed by a European tour.
