Lake Folks

Lake Folks is an indie folk artist from France, whose music is built essentially around a melancholic voice and an acoustic guitar. Lake Folks’ musical project started with the release of his first EP in July 2017. The main title – The Old Man and the Lake – was well received on social media and music blogs and allowed Lake Folks to tour in France and abroad, placed him in the Top 100 of the national music contest Tremplin Ricard S.A Live Music, and was selected for a grant for his EP by the SACEM (the French PRS).
After this, Lake Folks decided to move to London in 2018 to continue his music career. After a few months of settling in the London music scene, he recorded his second EP ‘Someone else’s dreams’ that will be released in early 2019.
