Their musical genre could be closer described as indie/postgarage/pop/psychedelic/blues/post modern rock. The band was formed in 2016 as a trio with the main goal to create contemporary music drawing strong influence from British rock bands, both old and new such as The Beatles and Arctic Monkeys and fusing it with sounds inspired by modern artists such as Jack White and Thundercat, while generating occasional rawness in the style of Fugazi at the same time.
Fire in Cairo have easily managed to catch a lot of attention due to their amazing, fresh sound, interesting appearance and energetic live performances which resulted in already tens of thousands of views on their YouTube channel and high attendances at their live shows from wide-range audiences. They have already gathered a lot of experience in live performances while playing not only in Croatia but across the whole region where they had numerous successful shows and festivals such as Europe’s best music festival – Exit festival in Serbia, Demofest (where they ended up as winners of the festival), Pandemonium festival, T.L.M. festival and much more.
The effect of their powerful live performances is backed up by amazing reviews of their shows, some of which describe Fire in Cairo as „a band whose strong rythm section makes you want to dance“ and „definitely promising guys“.
