Inspired by the Sunday hardcore matinees of New York’s legendary club CBGB’s and the thrash metal nights at Brooklyn's L'Amours, the band Enrage was formed by childhood friends. The band’s first proper demo “Burning Within” was produced by Josh Silver of Type O Negative selling over 3,000 copies.

Enrage became fortunate enough to play with a wide variety of bands such as: Agnostic Front, Bad Brains, Biohazard, Carnivore, Cro-Mags, The Dickies, Dog Eat Dog, Earth Crisis, E Town Concrete, Full Blown Chaos, Gwar, Hatebreed, Kreator, Leeway, Life of Agony, Lords of Brooklyn, Michale Graves of The Misfits, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Murphy’s Law, Morbid Angel, Only Living Witness, Overkill, Prong, Sam Black Church, Sick 0f It All, Testament, Thy Will Be Done, Type O Negative and Vision of Disorder.

WABC News also focused on Enrage logos in a segment featuring graffiti in NYC suburbs.
The CD “Empty” was produced by Noah Evans, who had previously worked with the Beastie Boys, Lucious Jackson, Bad Brains, Cro-Mags, Fear, and Sick Of It All. ‘Empty’ was distributed to over one hundred major college markets.

Millions of listeners heard Howard Stern play 'Cooper', a cut from the CD , read the lyrics and give Enrage a positive review over the airwaves. The radio push was done without gimmick or promotion.
The band regrouped with a new lineup and released 'Nothing Stays Buried.' Nothing Stays Buried climbed to the Top 25 of the CMJ Loud Rock charts upon its release and was played extensively on various college radio and foreign radio.

Enrage recently toured Belgium (playing Ieperfest) and France. Enrage has also been a supporting act and headliner along the east coast from New York City to Florida.

In early 2015, Enrage released Gateways Vol. I. - the first of a three volume EP set. This hard hitting release features guest vocals by Paul Bearer from Sheer Terror and was mastered by Grammy Award winning engineer, Brad Blackwood (Hatebreed, All That Remains, Korn & Lamb of God).

Gateways Vol. II is now available featuring “This Is Sacred” and once again mastered by Brad Blackwood. In support of the new release ENRAGE just played shows with the Misfits, Slapshot and OverKill.
As of August 2016, “This Is Sacred” is receiving solid rotation on college radio and is on the WSOU Loudest Rock charts for new music.

ENRAGE Gateways Vol. III is scheduled to be released in early 2018 with a full length to follow later in the year.
