Menoré is a five headed rock band from Kouvola, Finland. It was formed in May 2009, although the core of the band had played together for several years. The band’s music is a mix of different genres and every member (the current and the past) has brought their own influence to the band’s music.

Menoré has released two demo recordings, the first in the spring of 2010 called “Save Fail Demo”, and the second early in the year 2012 called “The Curse Demo”. At the moment Menoré is recording its first full-length studio album at the band’s own cost, and by that looking forward for an easier way to get their hands on a possible recording deal.

The founding members of Menoré are Matti Kukkasjärvi (Drums), Pasi Kakko (Guitar/Backup Vocals), Joonas Lintunen (Bass), Mikko Raunio (Guitar) and Miikka Viantie (Vocals). Joonas Lintunen played bass on the “Save Fail Demo” and played his last gig with Menoré in Finlandia Klubi, Lahti, in April 2011. His replacement was Jyri Jokela who played bass for “The Curse Demo”. Jyri’s visit was brief and he was soon replaced by Arto Gardemeister. After few gigs Arto decided to depart from the band, and for a moment it seemed that there is no light at the end of the tunnel. The founding member Pasi Kakko decided to take over the bass until the band finds a new bassist. In the aftermath of the one and the only gig Pasi played bass all changed and Menoré found a new bassist – Joni Heikkinen.

Although the band has had their share of misfortunes they are still more than willing to go on with their passion for music. With Joni in the band everything seems more positive and the band can look to the future at peace.
