Reach The Shore was formed in 2012, aiming at sharing their passion for music. Massive and beautiful, the band focusses on melodies and heavy breakdowns, mixed with stirring sing alongs that will not fail to make you move.
In 2014, Reach The Shore released Faith & Confidence. The full debut album is based on different ideas of everyone’s daily life. It goes from one’s social problems to the idea of gods and human nature.
In November 2016, a single called Safe was released. The band wanted to react on the bad events that happened that very same year. The members felt the need to connect to their followers, which was a success.
In 2017, their new album Hikaya is released. It tells the story of a girl, Nilaya, who has to go through a process of purification and evolves through different stages until she finally achieves her moral revolution. The word ‘Hikaya’ means “story, tale” in Arabic language. Through Nilaya, her friend Akhil and the universe in which they evolve, Reach the Shore aimed to tackle topics that would have been difficult to illustrate with only words and thoughts. Reach the Shore decided to work with Alexis and Matthieu from “Septième Thème Production”.
