Hello guys, thanks for your time. Would it be please possible to introduce your band to our readers?

Vince: Hello everyone. We are Marco, Ninou and Vince. A bunch of friends. We created My Taylor Is Bitch more than 2 years ago, in May 2020. Marco is the guitar player and singer, Ninou is the drummer and I play bass guitar and sing. We are playing melodic punk rock songs.

How would you personally describe the French punk-punk scene?

Marco: It’s still mostly underground because there are not so many bands in this scene. But it’s been our world for a very long time.

Beginning of the year, you released “Ghost Tracks”, a 4-song demos EP. How long did you work on it?

Vince: We’d been playing for a couple of years when we decided to record a demo to find more shows. So we spent 7 days in a studio, recording live the instrumental parts and vocals separately and then mixing it. It was the 1st time we were recording several songs. It was a true challenge to record live but at last, it was fun. We really enjoyed it.

How would you describe your usual writing process?

Marco: Vince and I write all the songs. And we are doing the same way. First the music and then the lyrics. We are talking about a lot of subjects. When we created the band, Vince and I had several songs already written and ready to be played, but lately, we’ve been writing songs all together, during rehearsals, everyone bringing up ideas. It is really interesting.

Is there any chance we can expect a new release in the near future?

Marco: Absolutely. We’re planning to record an EP in January or February 2023 with a release in April.

I saw that you’re playing a lot of shows. What do you like the most about playing live?

Marco: It’s the essence of Rock Music. You buy a guitar (or you steal it!) and you play your music loud in front of as many people as possible with smells of sweat and beer floating around you.

Vince: The energy we share with people in a show is extraordinary. I love it. For a little over an hour, I forget everything. It’s just my pals and I on stage making music, singing, shouting, jumping.

Do you remember your very first show with My Taylor is Bitch?

Vince: Oh, yes we do! It was after only 4 rehearsals. We could play only 6 songs. We played several of them twice! Luckily, we performed this show in Ninou’s sister’s restaurant in front of good friends. Such a great memory!

The last words are for you. If you have a message to convey, here’s your chance!

Marco: 2023 will be My Taylor is Bitch’s year. I hope you’ll be ready!!

Thanks for your time!
