Low Tides – All We Had Before Is Gone

Low Tides is an emo/pop-punk coming from Verona in Italy. Their latest record “All we had before is gone”, a 3 track EP, is typically what you can expect from this kind of music : catchy vocals, heavy guitar riffs and melodies that get stuck in your head for a couple of minutes, reminding the golden era of emo in the 2000’s and bands like Saosin, Saves The Day or The Swellers.

However, the band’s lyrics kinda fall short as the 3 songs mostly deal with the same subject and the band can’t really part from the clichés of the genre. Don’t get me wrong, this is a very good first record that could pave with gold the road to their next record if Low Tides can bring some uniqueness to its music.

About Greg Legarand

As a musician, I've been involved in bands since the early 2000's and have been constantly releasing records and touring since then. I use to play the guitar and sing in Bare Teeth and sometimes do solo stuff. I've founded Distrolution to provide bands and labels tools and services they need to get more exposure and help them as best as I can.
