Cinematic, post-hardcore outfit Acres announce their eagerly anticipated debut album, “Lonely World”. The latter will be out via A Wolf At Your Door Records on August 9th. In the meantime, the guys are also happy to share their new track, titled “Talking In Your Sleep”.
Vocalist Ben Lumber explains:
“The song is about being lied to by someone who you think really cares about you. When you think everything is perfect, in reality it’s really not. ‘Talking In Your Sleep’ is a metaphor for the words and lies subtly unravelling self-consciously”.
The accompanying video was filmed in Latvia. “We wanted something that suited the emotion behind the song”, Ben continues. “Raw, passionate and empty”.
