Breakout metal band Tetrarch drops album ‘Freak’

One of 2017’s biggest breakout metal bands, TETRARCH, have dropped a bunch of action-heavy new videos supporting the release of their latest album, Freak. Today, the band is treating fans to another new video for the title track, “Freak”, premiered on Red Bull Music.

Guitarist and vocalist Josh Fore explains: “We wanted to make each song [on the album] a different version of what someone might call “a freak”. We have the title track, that acknowledges it in some way. Everybody has something that makes them a little bit of a freak in their own minds.”

Guitarist Diamond Rowe adds: “All the songs tie in to being happy with yourself no matter what others think. It’s, ‘I’m weird in this way but that’s what makes me, me’. That’s something I’m proud of, and a philosophy I think more people should adapt.”

Freak was recorded with seasoned producer Dave Otero (Cattle Decaptitation, Allegeon, Khemmis) at the helm. He brought out the band’s profound heaviness without sacrificing the catchy, melodic edge. The latter has indeed hooked the band’s impressive underground fanbase.

The resulting sound is crushing enough to fit on any heavy metal bill! It’s however catchy enough to land confidently in commercial radio rotation.

Also, please note that Freak is now available to order now via iTunesAmazon or Google Play!
