For those who didn’t already know them, Mascots is a Pop punk band which consists of Drew (vocals), Chase (guitar – vocals), Robert (guitar), Alex (bass) and Justin (drums). Mascots have released, on October 19th 2017 an EP named ‘Time to Time‘.
“Time to Time is the title track off of our latest EP. It was recorded with Seth Henderson at Always Be Genius recording studio. He has already produced/recorded albums for Real Friends, Knuckle Puck and even Sleep On It”, explains bassist Alex.
It’s a short but powerful EP, that shows the two sides of them as a band. The two tracks, ‘On The Fence‘ and ‘Time To Time‘ are very different from one another musically, but go great together. If I had to pick my favorite, I’d definitely choose ‘Time to Time’ because of its catchy guitar riffs.
“The song that best reflects the EP would definitely be Time To Time. The song’s lyrical content is by far the most mature that we have written so far”, explains bassist Alex.
