Downcast return with a thunderous new single and video, “Catharsis”

Much acclaimed emotive punks Downcast return with a thunderous new single and video, “Catharsis”.

Vocalist Liam Edwards remarks about the single: “‘Catharsis’ is about being in a relationship with a toxic person and not realising the severity of their abuse until you’ve left the situation. The line ‘I always wondered why the songs I love didn’t sound the same when I was with you’ refers to someone wearing you down to the point where you don’t even enjoy the things that used to make you happy.”

Downcast will play a series of shows this Summer and are set to announce details of further singles very soon. Stay tuned to their socials for updates.
