Learn the story behind Holly Would Surrender’s new single

Holly Would Surrender is a four piece Pop-Punk band from Hamburg, Germany. After a few changes in the line up over the years, today the band consists of Ole Baumert (vocals – guitar), Stefan Heiler (bass), Andrew Klassen (drums) and Bruno Aguilera (lead guitar).

Formed in the beginning of 2010, the band started writing songs and immediately hit the road. Their pop-punk heroes Blink 182, NOFX and New Found Glory inspired Holly Would Surrender. This is indeed apparent in their style, songs and performance.

Twenty One“ is the band’s brand new single, from the album “Kaleidoscope“. Watch the music video and learn more about this track below!

This song was written by a very good friend of us. He had a band with our drummer Andrew, before Andrew joined us. So he started a new one. We all loved the song so much that we asked to record it for the album. We did some changes here and there, so it fits better… Seems like he was getting depressed/bored by getting older.

The story is, that everything felt better when you were younger and had less or no responsibilities. You maybe start your first job… your Friends from school are no longer near (they go studying or work at other places). It’s the bad part of growing up,“ explains the band.
