Get ready for Dead Fall’s sophomore EP “Never Expected”!

Dead Fall‘s sophomore EP “Never Expected” sees the band offering their biggest and most serious push into the scene since their formation in 2013.

The band enlisted the help of Seth Henderson at Always Be Genius Studios to dive into the creation of what would come to be the best and most cohesive material created by the group.

Fast paced and sporadic riffs give way seamlessly to beautiful ambiance throughout the entire five-song EP. While dissonant yet sparkling chords play out over groovy and energetic drums, the lyrics paint a more somber picture of the impact major life changes can have on one’s mental health.

Drummer Nick Barker comments:

Never Expected captures the turmoil of a young adult growing older and realizing how rapidly life changes. Feeling things you never knew you could feel is indeed confusing and terrifying. Experiencing major life changes that are out of your control for the first time can have a massive impact on one’s outlook on life, as well as one’s mental health. The things you never expect to happen can and will. This EP is about experiencing that, coming to understand it, accepting it, and moving forward.
