Bristol progressive heavy math-rock band Last Hyena are delighted to announce that they have signed to Stereo Brain Records. They will also release their debut album “How Soon Is Mars” on April 30th 2020.
To celebrate the news, they have revealed a video for lead single ‘Doctorpus’, which is out now on major streaming platforms. Pending COVID-19 disruption, the band is confirmed for ArcTanGent Festival 2021. They will be announcing further live dates in due course.
Commenting on the single, the band said. “The concept for ‘Doctorpus’ is set in a not-too-distant future where medical professionals and doctors have all disappeared and the only things remaining in the healthcare profession are octopuses. They can multitask very well and are very cheap to pay, although basically ineffective.”
