Our weekly discoveries – December 20th 2023

You know what Wednesday means for Distrolution. As we got the opportunity to discover a lot of new rock, metal, hardcore and punk songs lately, you’ll find below our discoveries of the week (and the last ones of this year). Enjoy!

River Stole Gods – “Reconciliation”

German metallers River Stole Gods are revealing their music video for single “Reconciliation”, a song blending deathcore and metalcore elements.

Shelterside – “Two Faces”

French alternative rockers Shelterside are presenting their single “Two Faces”, taken from their debut album out since the end of November!

Sixes & Sevens – “In My Head”

Hailing from Amsterdam, rockers Sixes & Sevens are dropping their new single, “In My Head”. The band explains that the song is “about that feeling you get when you’re approaching a traffic light and you step on the gas in order to pass before the light goes red”.

City Woodpeckers – “Feel the Devil”

Feel the Devil” is the first single from the latest album by French rockers City Woodpeckers, who have been back since 2015 with their original lineup!

Ron Coolen – “Firebird”

Ron Coolen is back with a new album, “Here to Stay”, featuring the single “Firebird” co-written with singer Keith St John and featuring guest guitarist Gus G.
