“The song was inspired by black sabbath, dropping acid, witches, and the pharmaceutical industry. The Wolf represents an outsider who is numb because he has had his heart ripped out – hence the line in the lyrics “you ripped my heart out, now I am insane.”
Stylistically, we set out to make a particularly punk/metal track. A lot of our other songs are more “Alternative” sounding and we wanted to channel something raw and fast. Wolf was also recorded at Nu-Tone studios by Ben Hirschfield,” explains the band.
