Wes Hoffman and Friends reveal “Far From Yesterday”

With a passion for punk beats, loud guitars and a penchant for honest, emotional lyrics, Wes Hoffman and Friends are ready to share their most meaningful songs in 2021. After the release of their lead single, “What’s Left of Me”, the guys are proud to share their new song, “Far From Yesterday”.

This is a song about letting go of the past. As the chorus states “when you just can’t get far from yesterday, try not to get in your own way.” When you’re holding onto the past, try not to let it keep you from moving forward. This is something I struggled with as well. It’s also about moving on, finding yourself again, starting over, and trying not to lose yourself. Sometimes we wish things in our past were different, and it’s difficult to let go of that, but trying not to let that keep us from living our best lives now.” – Wes Hoffman

Wes is known from his former and current podcasts, The StrangeHouse and Wes Hoffman with Friends, respectively. The live band consists of Wes Hoffman on vocals and guitar, long time friend Jacob Boyd on bass. Johnny Wehner on guitar and Justin Unterseh on drums.

About Valentine

As a huge fan of pop-punk, easycore and punk-rock music since forever, I officially started in 2011 by doing volunteer promotion for two local bands. In parallel, I also wrote articles for other webzines, which allowed me to understand what a media wants to receive! I've finally created my own webzine in 2015. Since then, I've continued in this direction in order to help bands and labels develop their visibility and notoriety worldwide.
